In 1990, the almost revolutionary Hallberg-Rassy 34 came onto the market. The concept with the new model was a ship designed by Frers that would look younger, sportier, but timeless. And this without neglecting the already well-known Hallberg-Rassy properties such as stability, seaworthiness, comfort, safety and the finest craftsmanship. This was also fully successful and in 1990 the first Hallberg-Rassy 34 was sailed. The model became a commercial success with 16 years in production from 1990 to 2005. 484 units were built. The Hallberg-Rassy 34 became a model for the following Hallberg-Rassy generations.
