The first "HANSEAT" by Willy Asmus was launched in 1964; it is 9.20 m long and the first plastic boat of this size in Germany. The first series consisted of five units; one for himself, two for his brothers and two for his clubmates.
Not only for the time, the coastal cruiser was something special, due to the unmistakable structure, whose windows in the decline area were reminiscent of horizontal "shooting ranges". The resulting versions are also called "Kanzelhanseaten". The yacht was considered seaworthy and comfortable.
The first version of the "Kanzelhanseaten" which was produced in series was built with short keel or as a keel sword. The underwater ship was still relatively flat in this version.
Draught 1.10 / 1.70 m, 108 yardstick number at Kielschwerter
